Rider Terms & Conditions
Effective 25 September 2026
These terms apply to people registering to perform deliveries through GRENGo. By applying for a rider account or accepting a delivery, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the applicable platform rules. A Pending Approval account does not authorise you to accept deliveries until approval.
GRENGo receives 5% of each successfully completed delivery fee. The rider's amount before other valid adjustments is 95% of that delivery fee. The vendor's separate 30% product commission does not reduce the rider's delivery fee.
1. Eligibility and verification
Provide accurate name, phone, identity, vehicle, operating area and payout information, and keep it current. You must hold any licence, registration, insurance or roadworthiness documentation required for your vehicle and work. GRENGo may verify documents, request updates and approve, reject or suspend access for safety or compliance reasons.
2. Safe and lawful travel
Follow traffic laws, use suitable safety equipment and operate a roadworthy vehicle. Do not ride or drive while impaired, distracted or unfit. Never share a rider account or let an unapproved person complete a delivery on your behalf. You are responsible for your vehicle, fuel and ordinary operating expenses unless a separate written arrangement says otherwise.
3. Availability and accepting work
Mark yourself available only when ready to accept and complete delivery requests. Review pickup and drop-off details before accepting. If you cannot complete an assigned delivery, tell GRENGo promptly so it can be reassigned. Do not accept work you cannot carry out safely or within a reasonable time.
4. Pickup and handling
Confirm the correct shop, order number and package count at pickup. Handle goods carefully, keep food and temperature-sensitive items appropriately protected and do not open, consume, replace or tamper with a customer's items. Report damage, missing goods, a delay or an unsafe pickup immediately to the shop and GRENGo through the available support channel.
5. Delivery and proof
Follow the agreed delivery instructions, contact the customer only about the delivery, and deliver to the correct person or location. Record completion honestly using the app's required confirmation steps. Never mark an order delivered before handover or submit false location or proof. For an unreachable customer, inaccurate address or failed handover, contact support and follow the instructions given; do not abandon the order.
6. Cash and payments
If GRENGo specifically authorises cash collection for an order, follow the in-app amount and remittance procedure exactly; do not demand an extra fee from the customer. Do not take a payment outside the platform for a prepaid order. Report any payment discrepancy promptly.
7. Delivery fee, commission and earnings
For a completed delivery with a GH₵20 delivery fee, GRENGo's 5% commission is GH₵1 and the rider's amount before valid adjustments is GH₵19. Cancelled deliveries, failed handovers and approved fee adjustments are handled according to the final order outcome and the evidence recorded. Your delivery history or earnings statement should show the fee, commission and payable amount.
8. Settlements and disputes
Settlements depend on completed deliveries, reconciliation, correct payout details, payment-provider processing, refunds or disputes and fraud checks. A displayed balance is not a promise of immediate payment. Raise an earnings concern with the delivery reference and evidence so support can review it.
9. Customer privacy and conduct
Use a customer's phone number, name and address only for the assigned delivery. Do not retain, share, sell or use that information for marketing, unwanted contact or personal visits. Treat customers, vendors and support staff respectfully. Do not threaten, harass or discriminate against anyone. Report any suspected account compromise or data exposure promptly.
10. Suspension and ending access
GRENGo may pause, suspend or close rider access for unsafe driving, false completion, theft, fraud, repeated failure to follow instructions or serious breaches of these terms. We will review relevant records and outstanding earnings and provide a reason where appropriate. Closing an account does not erase required transaction and dispute records.
11. Changes and governing law
Ghanaian law applies, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may update these terms as delivery operations change. The current version and effective date are posted here, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
